I really want to do some kind of 7-10 day cleanse. I am totally new at this though so I was wondering if anyone has done a cleanse and can maybe give me some ideas/ tips ?

Here is a tip: Cleanses are useless. Your kidneys and liver are designed to cleanse your body. No juice fast or slickly marketed "detox" product will release a storage of toxins in your body. Your kidney and liver do that work every day.

I use Super Colon Cleanse by Health Plus Inc. I also drink lots of water and add 1 table spoon of fiber to my protein powder every morning after a morning workout. Never tried any of the full body cleanse products.

Cleanses are complete and total garbage. Do the research.

I have used and have had very good success with the Acia Berry Cleanse product by Applied Nutrition. (pills)

I personally love a good cleanse and they DO make a difference in the way I feel.

    THIS^^.

Just eat healthy and your body will take care of the rest.
  • I've done a cleanse. It involved a trip abroad, drinks the consistency of wet concrete and enemas several times a day.

In hindsight my 10 days of cleansing was pretty funny. Also really expensive. You don't need to pay for sludge drinks and herbs and supplements to cleanse. If you're hellbent on being silly, just starve yourself for a week and buy an enema bag. Put some yoghurt in there if you want to feel especially fancy.

Or you could ignore the natural health rubbish completely and focus on eating a balanced diet. If you're getting sufficient fibre and drinking several glasses of water a day all that's inside should be out soon enough.

Seriously, never go to the enema spa.
