Percent of carbs, fat protein and sugar

Can anyone tell me what they think is the right amount of the above in your diet. It seems I am over alot on fat as I have eggs and avocados and never get enough carbs according to my fitness pal. I am of the theory that I should limit carbs and increase protein. What do you think?
