I think I know the answer to this question but I want to ask all you smart MFP folks to see what you say....so here goes:
If you go over your sodium intake by a significant amount, should you drink even more water to help with that?? And also, will drinking more water actually help or am I just hoping??
Thanks again

yeah drink lots of water
the more you urinate the more sodium your system will be dumping, your urine osmolarity may decrease a bit because you will be going to the bathroom a lot but it doesn't matter its still the best thing you can do to get rid of the excess sodium the quickest. Usually takes me 36 hours or so to really get rid of all my excess water after a really heavy sodium day0
