I've read that it speeds up your metabolism, but i've also read in another article that it works like a sugar rush- afterwards your metabolisms slows down, and is lower than before you had coffee.
Anyone experience this?

I've been chatting to one of the PT's at my gym and he says that coffee is a stimulate before exercise but if you continue to drink it afterwards it has the adverse effect. So he has told me to drink coffee before any exercise and then to drink water or fruit teas afterwards and try to limit the amount of coffee I do drink. Not sure of the science but I'm gonna give it a try and see how it goes.0
