how do you count calories for sauces

I baked some chicken breasts in a honey sauce. When I put it in as a recipe it comes to like 500 calories per servings, But you don't eat all of the sauce, So how do you count the calories for what "soaks" into the chicken while cooking?

You guess and go with the side you dont want to see. Always over estimate.

I doubt its the few extra calories picked up from the honey that one should be worried about, its the remainder of the day.
