How do you freeze tortillas?

I bought a package of whole grain tortillas and I know I will be the only one in my family to eat them (the rest prefer the white flour tortillas.) I know I won't eat the whole package before its expiry date and I don't care for what they taste like even after a few days of just sitting on the counter. I much prefer them freshly purchased. My experience with freezing them hasn't been great - they seem to crumble too easily and break when I'm rolling them. I usually put them in a freezer quality zip log bag but I'm wondering if there is something else I should be doing to preserve them in the freezer. Ideally, I would like to freeze them individually. Any suggestions?
