So I am in a total exercise slump. I just can't seem to find the motivation to get up and do the exercising and I am so glad that I did it once it is done but I can't seem to get the motivation to do it. Maybe its attributed to my Hypothyroid I dont know but if anyone has suggestions on how to get Motivated I'm all ears

It's a little shallow, but making myself look at clothing catalogs usually motivates me to not eat. I'm also cheap, so, since food costs money, and i'm a poor teacher, I usually see dollar signs and big red minuses next to them when I even think about food.

As for exercise, I have found a reason to make myself go out everyday: a dog. She's stuck in the house all day, so the only time she gets to stretch her legs is when I'm willing to give her a decent sized walk. I also like walking alone to clear my mind. Maybe you need a purpose, or an activity that's fun (Wii and Kinect have fun games that also help you to exercise). :D

Motivation can come and go all the time depending what mood we are in.....so the best way to stay motivated is to just do it.....I prefer to exercise in the morning, I get up at 5am and get it out of the way early as I don't like afternoon workouts, I will still do them but mostly I feel better when doing in nice and early.....I lay all my workout gear out the night before and literally just fall into it and bang off I go....I hear people say "oh I'm not a morning person" well become one! we all have the choices to make positive change..writing goals down is a great way to make sure your accountable...for instance you can say "this week I'm going to work out 3 mornings out of ....by writing it down it means you are commiting to it and owning it......but yes my best advice is don't think about it just keep moving...:o)
