Just wondering how my mfp buddies all cope when they have that ******ly feeling of wanting to snack. I am generally busy and dont spend alot of time indoors due to having a 6 year old and recent twin babies but on days like today (the weather is rubbish, and im in with nothing but housework to do) I cant help but have this feeling of wanting to snack- Im not constantly hungry think its more Im in and know what food i have in the cuboards.
I had breakfast, then found myself making a coffee and when went in the fridge for milk ate a handful of grapes, then awhile later 3 cocktail sauasgaes and 2 cadbury roses. Dont get me wrong its all counted for and I do double spinning laterthis evening so will have earnt more than enough calories to counteract this and many to spare.
If I do this too often all those little snacks build up- :-( Think it does'nt help that the babys are'nt sleeping as when there asleep I would be doing either a dvd or dance workout on the wii- when they dont sleep I am just sitting entertaining them as otherwise they are not happy babys.
How do you fight the erge of snacking??!!!!

I find not having it in the house helps. An old trick but a good one. If I buy a treat, it has to be a one day size, or it goes in the garbage. I relearned that lesson with cashews and cake last week!
Problem of course is, if you have snacks for the kids at home or other family, you can't do that. In which case, take up a hobby that involves your hands. A craft maybe? Crocheting, knitting, something fast you can reach for instead of wandering into the kitchen for a quick look around.0
