My husband and I have been doing 30 day shred at night after the kids are asleep and I've been getting these sharp pains in my temple when I work out. I get them during some of the strength work and they come and go strongly during the cardio especially. I'd assumed they were from dehydration, so yesterday I tracked my water intake carefully and drank 100 ounces, which is more than usual but not by that much. And I still got these vicious pains. They are bad enough that I have to hold still to lessen them in order to continue, which really annoys me.
I've worked out at this intensity many times before. I had been doing Firm Express workouts in the morning before I started this challenge with my husband. The only thing that is different is the time of day. I like to workout in the morning or afternoon and very very seldom exercise after 6 pm.
Has anyone else had this happen? Should I see a doctor? Any ideas on what is causing it?

Just wanted to say thanks for the good advice. I went to the DR and had an MRI and an MRA and found out I have skinny carotid arteries.
Now I'm going to a specialist. But thanks for the firm "go to the dr." I tend to put off visits and I'm really glad I went.
