Just curious what would work better at tracking calories when not using a machine: a HRM or a fitbit? It seems they do different things and at this moment I'm just curious of calorie burn. Also! Should I worry about going over in sugar if it comes from natural sources like fruit? Im always over!

unless you are diabetic don't worry about going over on sugar, if you are tracking carbs no reason to also track sugar except the reason stated earlier.
As for HRM vs. Fitbit. HRMs calculate calories burned during exercise only as it relies on an elevated HR to make its equation reliable. A fitbit is like the bodybugg and give you calories burned all day, not just from exercise.0 -
If the sugar comes from healthy sources such as fruit, that's fine. It's the sugar you get from eating too much chocolate, cakes, biscuits etc that should be kept to a minimum, if not cut out altogether.0
