HELP!!!!!!!

I am just setting up on this site. I put in my weight (big), my target weight (small), my life style (sedentory) and my exercise plan (various). And each time the goal planner came up with a plan to gain 0.6lb a week. Which was not overly helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I KNOW that the answer is to eat less or excerise more but how do I get the system to tell me how much less and how much more. I tried playing with my exersise plan from the lasy, through the realistic to the quite frankly ridiculous but althoughj it marginally changed the number of calories I burned it still made me gain 0.6lb a week. And I cannot work out how to amend my calories in.
I want a plan that will tell me how to lose a 1 a week. What am I doing wrong?
Also do I really only burn 310 calories a week if I exercise for an hour a day 7 days a week. Cos at that rate I think I might just stop eating and excersising.
