Hi All. I'm new to this site and excited to get back in shape. I'm not a runner (now), but my goal is to work up to a half marathon. ![:smile: :smile:](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I was in the best shape of my life about 10 years ago, then life got in the way and i stopped working out and eating right. I don't have a bunch to lose on the scale, but need to lose the spare tire and build muscle. My hubby and I are new empty nesters and just joined a gym for the first time ever - No More Excuses!!! I have 3 fantastic adult children, one blessed grandson and an amazing career as a professional photographer!

Hi there -- I'm the same way as far as goals. I don't have alot of weight to lose, just want to get rid of some extra pounds around the middle. And eat healthier. I can't keep snacking on sweets as I am getting older and metabolism is going down. Good Luck!0
