Pedometer Suggestions

I've been looking at buying a pedometer for a while now. I don't want to blow my budget buying something fabulously expensive, but I want a decent one that does accurate steps and distance. Calories, time, and the ability to track whole days as well as trips would be nice too. I've been worried about buying a really cheap one for 10$ because I don't know how reliable it would be.
I've heard of a lot of people using Nike+ but I lack brand loyalty and would like to know what other people have used and liked.
So, anyone here have a pedometer? Thoughts/experiences/suggestions?
