I was thinking of adding a day in the sauna for 30. minutes to my weekly routine. What do you guys think.

Lol saunas don't burn any additional calories than just sitting on the couch sorry.

Nope, we see this question every few days. Even when you work out sweat is not directly correlated to calorie burn. You can burn calories without sweating. I've had some really hard intense gym sessions where i hardly sweat but my heart rate is elevated the entire time.

While in a sauna the thermal stress you are put under does so little that it is not worth counting. Such as the difference between walking to the mailbox and walking to the mail box in the summer.

It is great for stress release and muscle relaxation. But not weight loss. If it did everyone in hot climates would all be skinny.

They do nothing for weight loss, but are a great way to relax. It also helps to open pores and make your skin feel nicer. Do it for enjoyment, but just keep in mind that it will neither help nor hinder your weight loss efforts.

Remember to drink plenty of water!!
