hi, all.

so, if you are over 23 calories and 39 on protein, you work out for 45 minutes, you burn 350 calories, but does the protein remain the same?

No, everything increases and decreases as you add the exercise.

you can never have too much protein. (Unless it's pushing your total cals over a crazy amount!)

    No it's not.

Aim for 1 gram per 1 lb of lean body mass....or 0.7 gram per 1 lb body weight (someone correct me here if I"m wrong)

Coupled with lifting, it reduces the amount of muscle loss during a reduced calorie diet.

Protein is filling and will curb your hunger too. Eat as much as you want!

Its no problem to go over on protein. In fact its good for muscle. But no worries there, women don't build muscle easily. But they can burn it away without getting enough protein.:flowerforyou:

Also note that the default/automatic settings on myfitnesspal are set extremely low for protein. A lot of us have adjusted it in our goals. I personally have mine set for 40%protein, 30%carbs, 30%fat.

As another poster said above, about 1g per pound of your body weight is good for building muscle! I weigh about 195 and try my best to hit 195g per day, and try to avoid going below 150g. Going a little over on protein is not a bad thing.
