Does anyone know the benefits of bee pollen? I was told it was beneficial by a co-worker but she forgot why :)

I started taking bee pollen when I stopped smoking to curb my appetite, and it does. I LOVE the stuff.

I also live in North Carolina and the plant pollen count is high here and I noticed a big difference in my allergy symptoms as well. There are many claims to other health benefits but I do not have first hand experience with that.

We also live in the city and when we go for our five mile walk/run, we pass by several restaurants that we think deliberately pump the smell of seared cow and pizza into the air on purpose to make us hungry ( ). If we take a couple of capsules or take a teaspoon of the royal jelly before we go, these smells do not make us want to chew our arm off. We notice a big difference when we take them.

    I recommend them highly.

Its pretty cool, scientists are unable to locate the actual active ingredient or its effect on the body.

Even with this in mind certainly helped me with energy levels. The guy in the shop actually said to me 'Now Sir, have you taken this before, its very powerful' like I was buying LSD or something....
