Beef stew meat (calories?)

Options
My husband bought some nice beef stew meat, not paying attention to which cut of meat it was (just asked for stew beef).. we have many bags of it in the freezer, and am now starting to use them about once a week in the slow cooker in various recipes... Today I weighed 500 grams of beef which is now cooking in the slow cooker, but now that I am searching the database, I am not sure which entry to use to log this beef? What does everyone use to log their beef stew meat? How many calories in 500 grams? Does it vary very much depending on the cut?

Thanks!

    Cal 1,250

    0 Carbs

Yeah, that one is very close to the one I used!

They would both work. The one I used had grams, but they are pretty much the same.

I like to add red wine to my stew but wasn't sure how to count that because some of it cooks off. Any ideas?
