Great job!!! One thing I do for the soreness AFTER a hard workout is to soak in a hot bath with epsom salts. It will relax your muscles, soothe the chaffing, and help you sleep really well! I give my children epsom salt baths and they are great sleepers! Good luck with your weight loss. Glad we're MFP friends. You can do it!

Hey Sara, great video. You say what we all think. You are learrning so much and its great that you share along the way. You are setting yourself up with some great tools to succeed. Embrace the pain but listen to your body. Epsom salt baths are great but if you don't have a bath you can soak a towel in warm epsom salt water and wrap it around th sore body part. eg. your calves. Which brings me to tight calves. Stretches will help. You could stand on the edge of a step and drop your heel down to get a stretch or while lying in bed grab a towel or strap and loop it over your foot and with the foot flexed pull back. Also if your feet start to ache try rolling the foot over a tennis ball, you can do this while sitting doing study or watching TV.
Good idea about boxing up half the dinner. I also if going out try to get to choose the venue and go somewhere suitable to me. My friends don't mind as they usually can still get something they like and I get my healthy choice. And most friends are supportive in our journey.
Planning is the key to success. Hope the school gym suits you. Can you perhaps pack snacks to help you through the day so as not to have 2 big meals. Maybe on a Sunday spend some time portioning out snacks into bags and have them in the fridge or cupboard ready to grab and throw in your bag. eg. vegie sticks and low fat cream cheese, boil up some eggs, crackers and hommus, nuts, popcorn, muesli/health bars, grapes, etc. use the eggs early in the week. I have actualy done this and written the calorie content on the bag (I need to as I have a poor memory) and it was a great help to me. Must do it again. The good habits we sometimes forget and its nice to be reminded to do again.
