Alright people, I'm heading out to dinner tonight and I'm nervous. I've already checked out their menu online and they don't have the nutrition info available. Not sure how to choose a healthy meal and also track that. Any and all tips are appreciated!! Thanks.

What type of restaurant are you going to?

Don't worry about it, eat what you'd like and get back on track tomorrow. 1 day of going above maintenance isn't going to derail your entire diet

Get an entree salad with the dressing on the side.

OR order whatever you feel like eating and ask for a box when they bring the food, put half in the box, you can have it for lunch tomorrow with a salad. (Or split with someone else at the table)

Sub roasted veggies for fries/potatoes. Avoid cream sauces. If you want a burger you could see if they offer a turkey burger as an alternate.

If it's a special occasion and you want to splurge get whatever you want and enjoy yourself...you can get in an extra workout and eat clean tomorrow.

If you want to try and stay w/in calories then I'd get grilled chicken of some sort with veggies (ask for them made without butter). If it's a sandwich, maybe skip one side of the bun. And have water with lemon and salad w/light dressing on the side.

But if you've been good this week then spurge and get on track tomorrow.

I went with a Turkey Grinder, no fries. I had a 1000 cal to consume so I'm hoping I stayed pretty close to it!
