Feeling deflated, but not in the way I want...!

I'm feeling pretty low about all this, I've been doing everything right I think, I'm on 1200 cal a day, exercising daily (only 25 mins / day at the moment but its a big change for me) and eating my exercise calories, eating much better quality food and drinking lots of water.

OK, its only been 17 days but I haven't lost any weight or any inches, having just measured myself. Surely I should expect some sort of change?

I don't have a lot to lose, only 10 - 12 lbs really, is it just going to take longer to see an effect with less to lose or am I missing something crucial?

Sigh.

    I'm feeling the same Lisa. Doing Shred and C25k for the past 12 days and can't see or measure any sort of difference. I know it's hardly any time but I still feel a little bit deflated as well.

    So annoying! At least I'm not slacking on the exercise though.
