I've heard you put it as "circuit training" for 20 or 25 minutes.0

You should get an HRM. Good luck!0

I track it under "circuit training" for 21 minutes; I don't have a HRM but I timed on my watch how long it took not counting the warm up and cool down but it's up to you if you want to include those in the time I think for 21 mins it gives me about 250ish cals, which I've been told sounds about right.0

it depends on each individual. I have found my hrm is the only way to truly track what I'm burning. MFP greatly overestimates what I do.0

track it under 'circuit training, general' and you will burn just over 200 cals0

30 day shred calorie burn
3.267 calories burnt per pound every hour. Multiply by weight to get how many calories per hour one would burn and divide by 3 to get each 20 minute work out.
From Jillian Michaels.0 -
Hi i think its different for everyone i'm on day 3 level one and on average i burn around 524 cals for the full 26 mins ( warm up and col down included) but i'm probably alot heavier than most xx0

Depends on your weight and how hard you work at it. When I first started it, I was 200 lbs and would burn 300 calories. Now's I'm 175 and I burn 230 or so and I have to work at that. The best way to tell is to get a HRM and track it that way.0

MFP says I burn 185. I think it calculates your burn according to your weight. Planning on getting a HRM soon0

Yup, "circuit training, general" is how I logged it when I was doing the program. It may not be right on, but I'd wager a guess that it's pretty close.
Edit: Obtaining a HRM does reap awesome benefits because then you have something more personalized to draw from than the estimates on this site.0 -
I've used "circuit training" as well. I've never had a HRM but find MFPs numbers to be pretty accurate.
I know for me I usually burn about 100 calories every 10 minutes once I get my heart rate up. So a 30ds workout is 200 calories give or take, and a 3 mile run is about 300. Not exact but if I need to burn some calories I know how long I have to run0 -

This for sure. Before I got my HRM I logged it as circuit training general... now I check that against what my HRM calculates and generally MFP is about 100-150 calories higher than what I actually burn. I believe that if you work as HARD AS POSSIBLE for the FULL 20 minutes of the workout that you MIGHT burn what MFP says... but believe me, I peter out during some of the exercises and when she says "I want you to gargle your heart during this 2 minutes of cardio" - I want to reach out and strangle her... and I cannot reach the level ALL THE TIME that I should to burn maximum calories.
I am thankful for my HRM because now I know, with much better accuracy, what I'm burning...nothing is perfect of course. If you cannot afford to buy an HRM, which I fully understand, be honest with yourself as to how hard you truly worked and edit the calorie burn to a more realistic number.0 -
yeah, definitely dont want to fork out the money to buy a hrm even though i wish i could based on that equation someone posted, im definitely burning less than what ive been logging!!! oooops, time to make some adjustments0
