I am curious, does shoveling show count as exercise? I have about 150 feet of drive way to shovel and will not have time to do my normal exercise. If it does count, how do you count it? We don't have a snow blower I have to shovel to get out.

yes it does, look up shoveling snow in exercise. you write how many minutes and it will give you the calories burned.

I would count it. It's not something you do EVERYDAY and it's definitely a workout. It works your core and arms not to mention giving some resistance just based on the weight of the snow.

HEY PEEPS it's a new year. I sno-ezed my driveway wearing my heart rate monitor and so YES it counts. data base said 273 cals/36 min.. hrm gave me 396. WUHUU. and that's a sno-eze, not a shovel. it's a horseshoe-shaped piece of place with a handle that you push the snow out of the way with. average heart rate was around 145.. this will help me dislike winter a little less....
