Trust MFP or Machines?

Hey. I am sure this has been covered before and, if it has, please link me to the feed, but what do you trust to calculate your calorie burn? I walk or run on a tread mill almost every day and it give me how many calories I burned. I always enter in my weight on the machine so it has some guideline on how big I am. The calorie number it gives me is usually very different than the number MFP gives me.
Do I trust the machine because it knows my inclines I am running at? Or is MFP more reliable?
Thanks!

I would absolutely say the machine because MFP doesn't know how hard you pushed your workout. It knows generally by speed but if you use an incline it doesn't know precisely how high you went, if you did intervals of fast and slow, it doesn't even ask about resistance on an elliptical. Since you're putting your info in the machine I would trust it because it was there with you as you worked out!0

not sure...I have a Garmin with HR monitor, and my calories burned as per the HR monitor is a lot closer to MFP's than to the treadmill...0
