Ankle tendonitis

I have a history of ankle tendonitis, and I'm getting some vague inklings that it's starting up again (some very mild tenderness and stiffness). Nothing too bad so far, but I've been doing the 30 Day Shred and it has a LOT of jumping around. I'm starting to get a little nervous that it will get worse. I've also started running again and am quite possibly overdoing it on that. I'm feeling healthy and great otherwise, though, and I really want to keep challenging myself (including running and finishing 30DS), but I'm worried I might be setting myself up for injury. Does anyone have any experience with this, tips, or suggestions? Any advice would be appreciated!
