Yet another newbie saying hi there ~ ^_^V

Hey everyone!
I’m going on to 31 y/o, from Singapore. Am at an estimated 105 lbs (I don’t weigh myself often). Not really looking to lose any pounds (though getting to 100lbs would be nice) but hoping to shave off the extra inches I’ve put on the past 2-3 years.
People around me haven’t been exactly supportive & it irks me a little. Tell anyone that I’m looking to shed some extras, I’m usually met with comments like “oh, you are so skinny, the wind can blow you away” or “you mad? You’re so thin”… blah blah (am not actually, am 5ft so my weight’s pretty much right for my height). Admittedly I can use some extra ‘meat’ on the upper half of my body but I’m a “pear”. Everything I consume goes directly to my hips, butt & thighs. My shorts are getting tighter, its getting harder to zip up my jeans, my tummy is spilling out… LOL you get the point!
Thus… here I am. Hoping to meet people who understand how I feel, and why I’m doing this. Hey, with some luck I might even find an exercise buddy or two (anyone from SG as well, do give me a holler!) for that additional motivation!
