Hello all im new to fitness pal, I have started going to the gym and need a little help when it comes to a rutine. I have been going for about a week now and still not sure on what to do any suggestions.

What are you currently doing? What do you enjoy? Are you looking for cardio or strength or both?0 -
Well, everyone is different so what I like might not be what you like but....
I do cardio (on the elliptical) three days a week. I do it for 45 minutes (long enough to watch a show on my phone!). I can't really go for longer than that just because I have kids and need to get home but my goal is to increase my intensity rather than the time. I also lift dumbbell weights at home at least twice a week (in the early am before the kiddos get up). Once I get in a bit better shape I will probably replace one day on the elliptical with an hour of swimming. I also try to to some very basic yoga stretches (about 3 or 4) every morning.0
