Does anyone know how many calories are in one pound of ground beef? I usually use ground sirloin. I like tomake low fat casseroles, but now that I am counting calories, I'm a little stumped on this one. Any advice would be great. Also what is the best butter to use(low calories)?166157.png

    try going to www.nutritiondata.com

The number of calories is going to depend on the percentage of leanness... Is it 80% lean? 95% lean? There's a big difference there.

As far as butter goes... most REAL butter brands are nearly identical as far as nutritional value. You can cut calories by using margarine, but it might not taste as good. Margarine is primarily vegetable oils.
