Heart Monitor chest strap is falling off. its too big on me

I have had the heart monitor chest strap for about 1.5 months and now the chest strap is falling off. How do you make the strap tight again.

I had the polar ft4. though i think i just might have to get the new nike watch that does not have a chest strap.
