Is flax seed oil good to take for weight loss? How much do you take a day? I purchased 1000 mg. Should I take 1 tablet along with Multi-vitamin daily?

I have heard it is good to have some flax seed oil in the morning and then eat no fat during the day.0

No, no, no. Basically, there is no solid evidence that flax oil does any of the many things attributed to it. See http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-990-flaxseed oil.aspx?activeingredientid=990
The general rule of thumb is that the only pills/shots/supplements that work for weight loss are either illegal or need to be prescribed by a doctor and the ones from doctors are not anything you can do for a long time without experiencing ugly side effects.
Eat fewer calories than you burn. That's the only thing that "works for weight loss."1
