I'm new to MFP. I just started today. I've done Weight Watchers before, but it's costly and time consuming. My biggest issue with this will be exercise. I don't belong to a gym and don't have alot of ideas on what to do. I'm not a big exercise person and after getting home from work, am exhausted. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! I'd really like to stick to this and lose the weight I need to lose..........about 50 lbs.

I started with exercise videos. Go to collagevideo.com to look at video clips & read reviews. Collage will tell what level that video is aimed at, what equipment you need, if its high impact, etc.
10 Minute Solutions DVDs are great for beginners. You can program anywhere from 1 to 5 segments (10 - 50 minute workouts) - whatever you have time for.
Walk At Home DVDs are great (look up Leslie Sansone) for those who don't like dancy, choreography routines
There are lots of sales out there right now. Target, Walmart, Best Buy ... all have lots of videos on sale.0 -
I know what you mean about WW -- it costs a fortune and I have found MFP works much better, as long as you really do the exercise! There are a lot of challenges in the message boards. Try to find just one and then really join it, checking in every day (AFTER you exercise!!). The home DVDs are great, but any good routine you can get a hold of and stick to at home will help. It took me a long time to finally get serious and regular about this, and it is working at last. Good luck!0
