Dr Oz's 30/30 Rule!!!

Options
I personally think it is great! To consume 30 grams of protein within 30 min of waking up... It boosts your metabolism and helps assist with weight loss, and also he promotes whey protein shakes along with a few other recipes including eggs and turkey sausage... I love Whey Protein.. It has done so much for me in my journey so far... Anyone else do the 30/30 and how has it worked for you?

    THIS.

I had a debate with my mom over nutrition/weight loss, and she was spewing all of this broscience because "that's what Doctor Oz said."

Dr Oz spews his crap to sell TV ad space.

If he actually said Eat less and exercise more, people would stop watching and he'd be out of a job.

Don't think we have Dr Oz here in England. If we do, I've never seen it. Feeling rather relieved from what I can gather about it!

I havent heard of this rule but it definately couldnt hurt! The way he talks is convincing people that what he says is right, He has some good points but reading about diet/fitness and nutrition since my teenage years i already know most of what he says , its common sense. Try it out and see if it helps you.

I agree, I think Dr. Oz is full of s***. His show and diet ideas are different every time you watch it.

    1. I'm not a big Oz fan
    2. I 'm not into bashing someones thread either.
Strictly based on the lovely ladies results,it might be worth listening to what she's done to get them instead of jumping on the I hate Dr Oz band wagon.
    Just my 2 cents

FWIW, I believe the original source of that suggestion is Tim Ferriss ("4 Hour Workweek").

cant boost metabolism without physical excercise.

    very heavy lifting = 36hours~
    interval cardio = 12 hours i think

I dont know by how much it boosts exactly. it varies from person to person.

    This.

I'm so tired of seeing "Well, Dr Oz says......." and therefore it is God's written word and EVERYONE must follow it.

    Blah.
