Terrified of getting on the scale

Hello I am new here, just downloaded the app on my phone and thought I would check out the website. I am terrified to get on a scale but I know I need to lose 20-25 lbs to get back to a comfortable weight for me. I have clothing in so many different sizes and I just want to feel OK in the smaller ones. Currently I feel like I am about to bust out of my skin and I have never felt this way before in my life. I am fairly active, play recreational sports, hike, bike, etc, and I belong to a gym, but I have been turning to food for comfort due to stress over the past 6 months or so. It's really starting to wear on me and I need to get this weight OFF. I am hoping these forums will help me air some things that I normally keep inside. I do not feel comfortable posting my weight (I don't even know what it is) nor do I really know how much weight I will lose unless I can somehow make mayself get on a scale. Thoughts/advise/suggestions welcome.

  • I just weighed myself at the beginning to find out where i was and after that once a week. you just need to know where your at so you can make a plan to get rid of it all. once you get going i think you'll get bit by the bug and it will be easier .
