what calorie intake and weight loss goal is right for me?

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to this I just started MFP last week and it set me at 1200 cal. I try to do 60 min of exercise a day and so far i've lost about 3lb. Im not alone in this my family is doing this too. but i cant help feel like the 1200 may be too low? I"m 20 yrs old, female and pushing 180lbs, I would really like to get down to 125. any advice? or tips? what should my intake be? thank you.
