what is full?

So I have a serious question. What exactly is full? Is it, I don't have hunger pangs any more. Or I feel slightly full, but really could eat more. Is it comfortably full as in I only want more because the food tastes good and I'm not ready to pop yet.

This may seem silly to most people but growing in "you better clean your plate" culture, this concept got really skewed to me. So your advice would be appreciated.

I know what you mean. I grew up in a "clean your plate" house and Mom always made enough for an army. I think I've given up thinking I'll feel "full" every day. Having only 1200 calories to eat each day, I think my head is going to have to catch up with my reality. My goal is to feel satisfied. Eating enough food where I can say, "I'm good." Good luck!

Not sure, I rarely experience such a thing.

Well seeing that I used to eat until I had to unbutton my pants.... Lol I think full is being content. No more hunger pains but not feeling totally gorged. It makes me feel better to not have that bloated disgusted feeling after eating. I drink a lot of water while I eat too to help fill me without overeating :-)
