Hi there!

I have a three month old and am trying to lose weight for my wedding which is in June of this year. So not long to go! I have my final wedding dress fitting in 10 weeks, and want to lose as much weight as I possibly can by then.

I am finding it tough :( I am doing Shred (Day 2 Level 2 completed) and C25k (week 2 run 2 completed). I am trying to eat pretty well, but am not being too rigid as I am breastfeeding and don't want my milk to dry up.

So....am I going to have to follow a pretty strict diet as well? Up my exercise? (Was going to order 6 Week 6 Pack next week and do it on the days I don't do C25k). Or am I going to have to face the facts that I probably won't lose any weight until I stop breastfeeding?

FWIW, I weigh 165lb and would ideally like to lose at least 20lb (which I feel should be doable at 2lb a week!) or more before the dress fitting.

What do you think? Am I doing anything wrong/right? Anything more I can do?

I'm really interested to hear your stories and opinions!

    Hi Aimsuk,

I have 10 month old twins, so I understand how u feel.

If you decide to have a heathly lifestyle (as that's all it is), your breastmilk def won't dry up. In fact, allowing yourself to eat fresh, breakie, lunch dinner plus fruit or yogurt snacks etc will be good for you and bubs.

The hardest part, which I get, is time!! Making an effort to prepare your meals as well as taking care of bubs. It's really hard. I have twins so I was insane. It's only now at 10 months I feel ready.

Give yourself a break - raising a newborn is hard work. You'll know when your ready, don't put pressure on yourself.

But a heathly diet only had its pluses - time is your bigger challenge.

    Xxoo GL Lidia.
