I'm starting to do more focused exercising at the gym, and my stomach is definitely one of my worst areas, so I was wondering if anybody had some ab exercises that work for them!?? I was thinking the regular plank as well as the side planks, using the "captain's chair" machine at the gym, maybe some crunches...but could use some more! Thanks :)

the best thing you can do for your abs is to continue eating at a caloric deficit and burning fat. You can't spot reduce. a million crunches or 10 hours of planking won't get the fat off. It will come off in time.

saying this, there are benefits to strengthening your core. The plank is a solid exercise...and feel free to try variations (like decline plank holding one foot in the air....or plank while swinging one leg to the side, back-and-forth...and plank jax are wonderful). full body exercises are real good for the core. so, medicine ball smashes, burpees, climbers, spiderman push-ups, etc.....all great exercises for the core and other parts of your body. don't waste your time with crunches and sit-ups unless you like risking back pain with minimal core benefits.
