Ab Workout Suggestions?

I'm starting to do more focused exercising at the gym, and my stomach is definitely one of my worst areas, so I was wondering if anybody had some ab exercises that work for them!?? I was thinking the regular plank as well as the side planks, using the "captain's chair" machine at the gym, maybe some crunches...but could use some more! Thanks

the best thing you can do for your abs is to continue eating at a caloric deficit and burning fat. You can't spot reduce. a million crunches or 10 hours of planking won't get the fat off. It will come off in time.
saying this, there are benefits to strengthening your core. The plank is a solid exercise...and feel free to try variations (like decline plank holding one foot in the air....or plank while swinging one leg to the side, back-and-forth...and plank jax are wonderful). full body exercises are real good for the core. so, medicine ball smashes, burpees, climbers, spiderman push-ups, etc.....all great exercises for the core and other parts of your body. don't waste your time with crunches and sit-ups unless you like risking back pain with minimal core benefits.0
