curves -vs- snap fitness

Hi all,
I have been with Curves since the start of July last year and I have lost hardly ANYTHING! (Dietician says my diet is great, I don't log on food here anymore but I do read forums etc) I work out 5 times a week and push myself hard, but I feel that it isn’t the right workout for me. A new gym called snap fitness moved into town and I’m going to suss it out. Does anyone go to this gym? Is it good? Have you lost weight using their machines? Pros & Cons?

  • I know you posted this a long time ago, and hope you have had luck with snap fitness. About 5 years ago, I tried Curves and stuck with it for about a year but saw no significant results. I had to really stick with doing 45 - 60 mins of cardio at least 5 days a week and of course keep track of calories to meet any of my goals. I think Curves is good for maintaining weight, but not necessarily for weight loss.
