MFP scan barcode with android phone help????

Ok guys... i need some help... heard that you can scan your items in by using your camera as a barcode scanner.. just cant seem to find this feature anywhere?... it is an android based phone .. please help.. thanks

I have an android and in the app when you 'edit diary' and are in the screen where you can search for a food there's a little barcode button next to the search button. Click that, your camera will come on, hold it over the barcode it will auto snap and bring up the item or it's closest guess to the item.

I know the first time I used the barcode option on an app I had to download a special barcode app just to use it. Hope this helps!
