Chia seeds or chia powder?

I've been adding gelled chia seeds to my oatmeal every morning and I love it.
But today at the store I found Organic Sprouted chia powder.
Does anyone know if one is better than the other?

its probably just ground up for baking. i throw them in the vitamix and blends them into nothing and they still thicken and gel up my shakes.0

the chia eggs you are making also make a great vegan sub for baked goods (eggs typically act as a binder in quick baked goods- muffins, quickbreads, etc.) in recipes that use ground flax meal you can probably switch to chia powder if you would like- i would do more half and half because of the fiber content of chia seeds, plus, the healthy omega-3's in flax are very good for you as well.0
