Figuring out Pizza calories?

My husband works for a locally owned restaurant, and he frequently brings home pizza for dinner. I haven't really tried tracking it before, but now I'm trying very hard to track every single calorie that I eat. But I'm having trouble figuring out how much to track. Since it's a locally owned restaurant, the pizza isn't in the mfp database. The pizza is thin crust, 16", veggie. It's cut into square pieces, each piece being about 3"x 3". I found a thin crust regular cut pizza to be about 800 calories for the amount of pieces I had. I found a thin crust square cut pizza for about 450 calories. I dont' know which one to track! Any help would be appreciated! :)

I have been trying to figure this out about alot of foods. I usually check a half dozen or so of the same food and go somewhere in the middle to higher end. It seems to work for me.

Without knowing the exact ingredients and quantities used, I often do exactly as pg3ibew suggests. Since your husband works there, you could always ask about the recipe used and calculate it out that way.
