Hello, everyone!

I realized today that I have to start tracking food again. My previous attempts to do this (both on other sites and in a notebook) always start off strong, then peter off. I have hit a plateau, though, and have slowly started letting myself eat a little extra crap during some stress. I have vacilated in a 5 pound range. That would be fine with me if I were at my goal, but I'm not. SO. I am going to try to be more mindful of food and will TRY to keep track every day here about *every*thing I eat, even if it hurts to see it written down some days!

I am starting today also...need to shuck off the 15 lbs that is making me cringe everytime I see myself in a picture....I have tried to write it down in a notebook a hundred times...but I never know how many calories I am actually eating...hoping this will help me track better. Also, I am going to try to plan out my meals better. Let me know if you need a buddy to keep you checking in regularly...I know this would help me, maybe keep me motivated!

welcome to you both, I have been here for just over 3 weeks and it has helped me drop 6lbs already. it is so easy to log your food after the first week. don't give up if it seems laborious the first few days. there are so many foods in the database that it is easy once you find your way around. have fun and be nice to yourself. good luck.:drinker:

    Hey,

I agree with kimss. Just before xmas I lost 5lbs in 4 weeks all thanks to this site, but I didnt log my calories during the xmas period and put it all back on and got de-motivated by that completely.
Last week I decided to give it another go, because of the great results I had before and slowly but surely I am getting back on track. I wont give up again and this site is a great tool and will help me reach my goal. The key really is to log EVERYTHING. I usually plan my food diary for the next day, and should I be a little pig and give into snacks during the day I log them all and just adjust my dinner that night accordingly.

This site is also great for motivation,Im sure you will find it very useful in your weightloss journey.

    Good luck :flowerforyou:
