Hello,

I am on day 11 of p90x, and the first week I was SO sore after workouts and felt it the next day when I woke up. Now that I'm on the second week and doing the dvd's over, I am not feeling the soreness anymore. Am I doing something wrong?!

Thanks!
-Kayla :)

When I did p90x the same thing happened to me. I was sore for the first week, but then fine afterwards....except when I did yoga, I'm not flexible.

No you're doing it exactly right! Great news you are not so sore, you must be getting fitter!

I did my first pylometrics yesterday (Day 2) - actually wasn't too bad considering everyone says its the worse one. I enjoy a good leg work out but normally find them too boring to do in the gym but it was amazing.

Loving it. I just need to keep fitting it in every day!

    You might be numb! Ha.

But seriously, stretch more, do some Pilates/Yoga stretching to develop the lean muscle.

I was sore almost every time after doing legs and back even after my 4th round. It all depends on how hard you bring it. It's been some time since those days, but if you squat low and work hard the DOMS will come on a day later.
  • Took me about 3 weeks for the soreness to go away ... but yes, that's normal.

So now that you're getting more fit, you can "bring it" with even more intensity - time to up your weights or your reps!

Ha that's very true. Actually, you might be used to the soreness and not notice it as much.

It's completely normal. Stick with it. If you feel like you aren't working hard enough at the end of the lifting sets, consider increasing your weights by a bit. I went from using 5 and 10 lb weights in my first cycle to 15 and 10 lbs now.
