Hello all,
I'm Cece, a former New Yorker currently living in New Jersey

I find it hard to introduce myself, but here I go...

I just turned 27 (sigh) 3 weeks ago.

I have a lot of dietary restrictions and am a lifelong vegetarian (medically necessary)

I also have a few medical conditions that make losing weight difficult (they contradict each other, so its like a double edged sword)

I'm attempting to lose about 80 pounds. I convinced my husband to finally join a fitness club with me. He used to belong to a different one, close to his work - but now he works from home a lot so it makes sense. We joined before christmas. We're trying to go every day, but sometimes we skip a day in between.

My goal is exercise at least 5 days a week, 30 minutes a day. It's not easy, because my medical conditions also kill my energy.

But I want to have a baby in the next year or so, and I really want to be more "fit" before I do that.

Welll....that's me... :)

    Welcome to the site! The best way to become truely commited to using the diet and exercise logging is to become involved in the forums. There are literally thousands upon thousands of users who are all looking to accomplish the same goals as you, and are more than willing to share tips, advice, and support.     Thank you. I'm hoping to meet some people on here that are in the same position I am. :)

    I'm good with the exercise tracker but the food tracker is confusing, because there are just too many entries. I never know which to choose or if the one i'm choosing is the correct one. Sometimes the things I eat aren't even in the database.
