I lost 60 pounds reading my kindle on the elleptical so I must be doing something right.

Thank you! I was starting to feel like a louse! lol

I read sporadically while I run on a treadmill (not terribly fast but not slow, either... 5-5.5mph). Every couple minutes, I check my progress and then read another page or two. I find it helps me to think less about the sweat that's dripping off my elbows and my labored breathing!

#9 is my favorite.. as my trainer phrased it last night "Maybe this move is too advanced for you".

Translation: You really should be getting this move.. it's not that hard... and I'm not allowed to laugh at you for not understanding it.

Don't agree with #19. I work my socks off at every class I go to and I ENJOY doing it! You can still have a blast working hard, in fact for me that is *where* the enjoyment comes. However, I do see far too many people relaxing in classes, though they still don't look like they are enjoying themselves :P

    It's a tie between

    15. If you're motivated to buy an expensive home exercise machine, consider a "wooden coat rack." It costs $40, uses no electricity and does the exact same thing.

    and

    25. Fact: Thinking about going to the gym burns between 0 and 0 calories.

    for me

HAHAHA as a person who works in a gym as well as someone who works out in one, these are ALL TRUE. I would just like to add that If you walk 20 minutes on the treadmill and then drink a Gatorade it doesn't mean you had a good workout, it means you are drinking back any calories you burned and then some.

so true.... he should definitely add that one to the list!
