Exercise goals

Hello everyone,
I spend 40 minutes on the exercise bike each day, biking vigorously and burning around 700 calories. I also go on the treadmill etc but this is my main form of exercise. I told MFP I want to exercise six times a week for 40 minutes to lose 2 pounds a week and it set my exercise goals but I've only just realised it has worked my calories burned per day out at 363? With me burning around double that, surely that should affect the amount of calories, protein etc I put into my body? My goal is 1710 cals a day but I only seem to reach around 14-1500.
I've been using this since the start of the new year and lost 4 pounds first week and 3 in the second, but I'm worried about whether I'm not eating enough calories and am therefore losing muscle instead of fat.
