Day off what do you do?

I took today off as I worked out hard for 6 days in a row. I didn't want to..but after not being able to get my heart rate up yesterday no matter what I tried...I know my body is saying give me a day off to recover please..lol..so now I am guessing I need to stick exactly to my 1200 calories today (please correct me if I am wrong) I have errands to run, laundry to do. Anything else I should do today to recover. I don't want to just sit all day. What do you all do on your off day? food wise? anything else wise LOL...?

    Today is my day off as well, I plan on sticking to my calorie goal, taking a nice walk, and probably doing some yoga - nothing too crazy. Haha

    My days off are just that..I do nothing physical. I have off days every 3 days. I work out so hard during my 3 days on..that on that 4th day..I do rest. I spend time with my family..maybe take a stroll or something..but nothing I log. As far as food..I eat stuff in moderation..

    I usually take Fridays off since I typically come home late from work on those days and just want to relax. On Fridays, I do my best to stick to my cal limit (1260) and I might walk a bit on the treadmill instead of an intense workout. I believe that your body needs that 1 day a week to recover, so take it easy...but don't overdo the calories ;)

    Party, sleep, video games... that's about it.

    The stress we put our bodies under when we work out has to be undone on our days off. Spend some quite time and do some foam rolls, static stretching, listen to whales, take a nap, go to bed early, and drink a calming tea. REALLY have a rest day, not just a day off.
