However, if there is a just & loving God there will be a Ravens/Niners Super Bowl...anything involving either the Pats or the Giants will make me vomit profusely.

Signed, A VERY Disgruntled Eagles Fan

P.S. Is anyone else just in it for the Super Bowl commericals now?

Well, if you can imagine my pain, I am a Vikings fan..............so, football seasons can be very difficult, ESPECIALLY since I live across a bridge from Superior WI, and those danged Packer fans can be brutal (I must admit to great joy when they lost to the Giants!)

I, too, would enjoy a Baltimore/San Fran Super Bowl. The Pats have been in enough, and the Giants don't really deserve it.

and yeah, I'm in it for the commercials! (cuz the musical guest this year just plain sucks......imho.)
  • well, there is the Madonna at Half Time Show.

    Just saying..

Even though the Pats were the last team to beat our Eagles in the SB, I'll root for them if they play the Giants. Of course, I'll root for just about anyone playing the Giants....

I think I will just hope the dome implodes if it's a Pats/Giants Super Bowl...

LOL about commercials. I work in a marketing management and I keep up with the industry trends. 364 days of the year, marketing professionals love to say that all traditional media is dead and that social media & SEO/SEM is the way to go. Then, Super Bowl Sunday, television ads become in vogue again.

I'm just going to go with the flow on the Super Bowl. Whoever makes it there, I will watch.

Old media is still a behemoth.

Giants-Patriots will be a good game.

A couple days after the Super Bowl, everyone will forget about the ads and we'll go back to talking about how digital trumps television in marketing circles. I think both forms can be relevant depending on a brand's budget. Anyway, it's just like January at the gyms. January gets crowded, but by February most return to their old ways.
