Come on out and run today. It was a really nice morning and good temps for running. 41 at 5:00 am.

Ran 6 miles before 6:00. I can't say that it was good but it wasn't bad either. I hit a good pace around mile 4 where my breathing and my stride all came together. I am not sure what the pace was but I thought it would be a good distance running pace for me. I even passed a few runners in our group. :smokin:

I got a berry chai at starbucks after the run. I don't recommend it.:indifferent:

Great job, SherryRH! I bet you are invigorated for the day now.

I couldn't get up for nothing this morning. I taught an interval class and a kickboxing class last night and that just drained me. I am teaching another interval class tonight, so no running for me today. I will be tomorrow if the weather holds up - it's suppose to rain :grumble: But, I guess I won't melt either. HA!

I hope everyone has an awesome day!

    Marcia.

Sluggish 5K for me this morning (sorry I'm back to metric - I guess since I learned to run in Canada it just feels better to me) Not sure why I felt so slow but it could have been the 2 coronas I had last night with dinner.:embarassed:

Ugh. today was my first day in a couple weeks, so I only cranked out 2 miles. Then I speed-walked on an incline the rest of the way.

    tomorrow will be better.

Those tempo runs are killer, aren't they. I struggle through them, but it always feels great when you finish - especially if you're able to achieve your goal pace. :glasses:

Yes, I think that tempo runs are harder than speedwork!! I did a 1 mile warmup, 6 miles at temp, and 1 mile cooldown. I was sooo happy to be done!!!!
