need a bit of help.. cals??

have a daily allowance of 1200 cals.. which i havent exceeded actually everyday been under. when you excercise it ups ur daily allowance.. should i still just be eating under 1200.. or try eat 1200 exactly or more? im so confused :( x

    you should not be eating under 1200 - you want to eat at least that much.
    on days you exercise, you should also eat what your burned. mfp is set up with a deficit already, and with yours being 1200 its even more important for you to eat enough to fuel your body. make sure to net (food - exercise = net) 1200. you also might have too large of a deficit.. 2lbs per week is meant for people with 75+ lbs to lose... the closer you are to your goal the lower your loss-per-week goal should be. try for 1 lb or even 0.5 lb and see how you do :)

    its ok :) the mfp way seems to confuse a lot of people - but its really just a set deficit and as long as the numbers are still green, you can eat and still lose weight
  • I too have been doing this, it will explain why i feel like a back of spanners today. lol
