Quandary about MFP settings

Question for the gurus!

So since I started "dieting" at the beginning of the year, I've gone from being definitely sedentary to i guess what you would call "lightly active" - 30 minute walk each day weather permitting, gym once or twice a week, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking far from the stores etc.

My quandary is this: Should I leave my MFP settings at sedentary as they were when I first started and continue manually tracking my exercise? Or should I set MFP to lightly active and quit recording my exercise calories?

Also, how often should I recalculate my BMR and TDEE? I've lost 14lbs now so they've both shifted somewhat.

Thanks!

Leave the settings at sedentary - those are before any additional exercise.

I've wondered about this too. I consider myself sedentary because I spend the major of my day at a desk job and then I'm on my computer at home a lot too. So I count the exercise.
